Tillandsia Seleriana

Tillandsia Seleriana is a striking xeric airplant known for its large, bulbous base and soft silvery-green leaves. Native to Mexico and Central America, this unique tillandsia naturally grows attached to trees rather than in soil.

As a xeric airplant, it has a thick coating of fuzzy trichomes that help it absorb and retain moisture efficiently, making it more drought tolerant and generally lower maintenance than smoother airplants.

It is recommended to only soak this airplant once a week for about 20 minutes. The most important step is drying! Very gently shake out excess water after soaking and let it dry on a towel. Use a fan to speed up the drying process. This airplant needs good air circulation to avoid base rot.
