Refund policy
Returns, refunds or exchanges are only accepted if there is an issue with the item received. The following outlines our policy regarding different categories:
Plants
- Live plants are real, and therefore not perfect or without flaw. There may be minor imperfections that will not warrant a return, refund or exchange.
- If there is an issue with your plant (i.e. it is sick or dead), please contact us within 24-hours of receiving your shipment to discuss return options. We will ask that you send us pictures of the plant in question and a copy of your invoice..
- We will ship plants in the winter with a 72-hour heat pack, but we cannot guarantee the health of the plant if it is shipped in extremely cold conditions. For this reason, we will not approve a return, refund or exchange of plants during the months of November - March.
Pots & Accessories
- Pots & accessories are exchangeable or refundable within 14 days in their original, unused condition. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return or exchange an item.
- These arrangements are not eligible for return, refund or exchange.
Gift Certificates
- Gift certificates are not refundable.
Sale Items
- All sale items are final sale.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Missing packages
We are not responsible for lost/missing packages that are marked as successfully delivered by the courrier company.
Exchanges
Exchanges are only possible if the item is still in stock. Otherwise, a return will be processed.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
How to initiate a refund/return/exchange: Contact us immediately at melanie@plantbabies.ca. You will need to provide us with your proof of purchase and a picture of the item(s) in question.
