Purpurea Large Form is a silvery-green airplant with thick layers of trichomes on the leaves, making it a soft and fuzzy plant.  The bloom is purple and produces a spicy fragrance, similar to that of cinnamon.  Easy to grow and makes numerous pups.

This airplant is in the xeric category of airplants, meaning that it needs indirect, moderate sunlight.  It is more drought-tolerant than mesic airplants.
