Tillandsia Ionantha Druid

Tillandsia Ionantha is one of the most popular air plants because it is easy to care for. Its small size and ability to produce offsets also make it a great choice for both beginners and air plant collectors.

Ionantha Druid (aka Sumo White) is a particularly interesting form. Instead of the more familiar red or pink blush, this variety develops a soft yellow colour when it’s preparing to bloom, followed by delicate white flowers. This trait is uncommon, and the gene can only be passed on through propagation, not seed.

Like other Ionantha, Druid is easy to care for and will produce pups around the base as it matures. With time, a single plant can grow into a beautiful little cluster.
