Tillandsia Crocata Giant Form

This larger-growing form of Tillandsia Crocata has all the charm of the classic Crocata, but with a little more substance. Its narrow, arching leaves form a fuller air plant, with a silvery appearance from the fine trichomes covering the foliage. Compared with the standard form, this variety is somewhat less fuzzy, giving it a slightly smoother look while still retaining that characteristic Crocata appearance.

And then there’s the fragrance. When it blooms, Crocata produces delicate cream-coloured flowers with the wonderfully sweet, distinctive fragrance that makes this species so special. The flowers may be small, but their scent is anything but—T. crocata is well known for its intensely fragrant blooms.

Like other forms of T. crocata, it can produce offsets at the base after flowering and gradually develop into a clump over time. This is a great choice if you love fragrant Tillandsias and want a larger, fuller version of one of the classic scented air plants.
